If you have daily climate data from another dataset, or you would prefer to calculate the Climdex indices yourself, you can use the Climpact software to derive the indices from either point-based (eg. station) or gridded data.

What is Climpact?

Climpact is a package for the R language that calculates the Climdex indices. There is a web-based version of Climpact for calculating the indices from station data or you can download the Climpact software from github to calculate the indices on gridded NetCDF data.

If you have problems installing or using Climpact2, please contact Nicholas Herold. For any other issues, please contact Lisa Alexander.
